Job Description: We are currently seeking a Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machine principles, the ability to interpret blueprints accurately, and the expertise to operate both manual and CNC machines effectively. The Manual Machinist will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
•              Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.
•              Perform necessary layouts and follow dimensions precisely to meet design specifications.
•              Operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate components.
•              Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper functioning and production output.
•              Monitor machine operations to detect any deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments.
•              Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, adhering to strict quality control standards.
•              Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
•              Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
•              High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in machining preferred.
•              Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
•              Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
•              Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques.
•              Experience operating manual and CNC machines, including setup and maintenance.
•              Ability to perform precise measurements and calculations using precision tools.
•              Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
•              Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as required.
•              Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•              Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
